Organic Power Ireland Limited (OP) is in the business of renewable energy. Managing Director Robert Brennan was the instigator responsible for the development of first and largest commercial Waste to Energy plant (Anaerobic Digestion) on the island of Ireland. This currently treats circa 100,000 tons of organic waste pa to produce circa 5MW of electrical power.

En'D is an Architectural and Project Management Services company. Director, Crawford Leitch has been working with Robert Brennan on environmental projects for over 10 years. The En'D team brings experience in Surveying, Civils, Structural, Infrastructure Design, Project Management and Architectural Consideration to any project at all stages of the process.

ETI

Energy Trading Ireland (ETI) have their own unique software that allows them to use power generating assets more productively. This is done by deriving revenue from energy trading by providing either power onto the grid when needed at peak times, or create load to use up power on the grid when for example there is too much power from wind farms that isn’t required at that time

PGE

PGE is a design, fabrication, and manufacturing business for the provision of bespoke waste-to-energy conversion technology solutions, in this case pyrolysis technology, which can be used for the treatment of ‘dry-fraction’ waste. They have one of the first full scale commercial plants operating in the UK, which can process 3t/h (tonnes/hour) of MSW with 3MWe output. Through the design, build and commissioning of this system the company has become a class leader in waste to energy (WtE) conversion technology.

KMH

KMH has a team of project managers, design engineers and installation technicians which deliver turn-key projects to the recycling, biomass, and biogas industry. They can deal with mixed wastes and separate out the recyclables such as metals and plastic bottles and can cleanly also remove the organic fraction so it can be further processed by Anaerobic Digestion to produce renewable energy. The remaining material after all the valuable materials have been recovered is now also clean enough to be used as feedstock for advanced thermal treatment (not incineration) in this case called pyrolysis for more renewable energy recovery.

Animal slurries or wastewater are a valuable fertiliser but have a fixed/mixed composition of (nutrients) Nitrates, Phosphates and Potash (or N, P and K) This composition doesn’t meet the optimum nutrient requirements for any given field.

The storage of such wastes is a very large cost and 90% + is only water, but if we can recover the N, P, K, and then dewater, we can dramatically reduce the slurry storage and land spreading costs of managing such wastes.
Then separated N, P, and K can then be mixed to an optimal composition for any given field, and this is determined by a simple soil analysis. The remaining water can be cleaned sufficiently to be safely disposed of, to drainage. The technology is illustrated within the following process:

This product works as a Microbiology performance enhancer. It has been proven to work on both plants and livestock, improving health and live weight gain amongst other benefits.

The brand comprises micro-organisms including naturally occurring bacteria, crenarchaeota and euryarchaeota from both land and marine sources. XcelBio product can be sold as a water additive, which has undergone an approval process from appropriate certification bodies for whatever the product is targeted at be it AD, livestock, plant life or wastewater clean-up.
Biogas

XcelBio is currently operational at multiple Anaerobic Digestion plants in 10 countries including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Portugal, Slovenia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and the UK.
